-History of the Kururin series so far-

1990's:

Original ideas for Kuru Kuru Kururin are thought about, where the game could either be made for the Nintendo 64 or the Game Boy Color. The Nintendo 64 idea was scrapped, as it would have been too expensive, and the Game Boy Color lacked the sprite rotation feature the Game Boy Advance would later have. An arcade board test was also apparently created.

2000:

Kuru Kuru Kururin begins development on the Game Boy Advance and is shown off for the first time at Spaceworld 2000 as a prototype, with different visuals and a different design for Kururin, where he was an orange chick instead of a blue bird.
